A solid foundation is the most important thing required to start your remodeling or building project. Both literally and figuratively, the solid foundation begins with a contractor you can trust. But trust alone is not enough - competence coupled with pride in workmanship is required as well. In addition to adhering to the highest standards of quality and workmanship, we pledge to hire only equally qualified, licensed, bonded, and insured subcontractors for all of our projects.

JEM Construction Services
Hiring the right contractor for your project can be among the most important choices you make to protect your valuable home investment. Having been in business for over 35 years, we've certainly earned the trust of our clients and you can be sure we'll be around in the future. All of our workers and subcontractors have been thoroughly vetted over the years so you can relax while we work in your home.

Our pricing philosophy is to provide you with a competitively priced and extremely detailed bid allowing us to do the highest quality work on your project without surprises later. All phases of work related to your project are clearly outlined in our proposals such that we do not later substitute change items to our advantage. If substitutions or changes are made during the course of work, you get full credit for the original scope of work or item.

We want your business and will meet or beat any legitimate competitor's price if we can. We simply ask that you allow us to review any competitor's written proposal to make sure items are not omitted and the "allowances" given are reasonable. If we can't match the price, we will tell you right away after the review. Please see our FAQs page to learn more about the bidding process.

Please note that, because we have been in business for several decades, we are a little "old school" when it comes to being media savvy. We have typically relied on "word of mouth" referrals for our work. So, while we have now seen the advantages of a web presence and sites such as Yelp.com and Houzz.com, we may be a little behind in garnering reviews. Also, many of our clients wish to remain anonymous and we don't like to obligate them to providing reviews. But we do have an extensive customer reference list available upon request.
